About Harlene Miller
Harlene Miller is a Bankruptcy Attorney who has been specializing in Bankruptcy Law for over 32 years. She is a Certified Specialist in Bankruptcy Law through the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Harlene’s focus is in providing legal counseling for all bankruptcy and insolvency matters, representing both Debtors and Creditors. She is known for her expertise, personal client care, and accessibility to her clients. Prior to opening Harlene Miller Law in Irvine California, Harlene was a shareholder, officer and managing lawyer of Pagter and Miller, where she also specialized in Bankruptcy Law. In the beginning of her law career, Harlene was mentored by a retired Bankruptcy Judge.
Over the years, Harlene has gained considerable expertise in bankruptcy and insolvency matters that involve various and oftentimes complex issues. Harlene has found that to fully evaluate a particular circumstance or issue, and to maximize the effectiveness and benefit for her clients, it is imperative to understand how the bankruptcy laws apply and impact both sides of the issues. For this reason, Harlene has always and continues to represent both Debtors and Creditors.

Harlene provides personalized solutions, financial counseling (before, during and after bankruptcy), and is an aggressive legal advocate for her clients.
Harlene received her Juris Doctorate Degree and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Laws from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California where she served as the Managing Editor of Law Review and graduated with Honors. Harlene is a Certified Specialist in Bankruptcy Law as certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
Harlene Miller is admitted to practice law before all California Courts: The United States District Court of California, Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Harlene is a member of: The State Bar of California, the Orange County Bar Association including membership in the Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Section, and the Solo Practice/Small Firm Section, the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
In her spare time, Harlene performs in community theater productions throughout Orange County and has appeared in more than 20 stage productions.
